Balfe Insurance Brokers

With over 20 years industry experience, Michael started Balfe Insurance Brokers in December 2020.

Michael commenced his career in insurance broking at 19 years of age in the London market, where he worked for two years.

On returning to Australia Michael worked as a Commercial Underwriter with Royal and Sun Alliance and then QBE Insurance.

Wanting to follow in his fathers’ footsteps as a broker, Michael joined a National Insurance Brokerage in 2007. Within a few years Michael was appointed Branch Manager.

Michael successfully led the branch until 2020, when he achieved a lifetime goal and created his own insurance broking company as a Corporate Authorised Representative, most recently joining SureInsure Pty Ltd.
